Save the date for the parish Fall Fling!

Join us on Friday, November 11, 2022 at Bolingbrook Golf Club.

• Buffet dinner serving grilled flank steak and salmon.
• Cash bar
• Cocktail hour starting at 6:00 pm., dinner at 7:00 pm.
• Dress attire is business casual.
• Music entertainment provided by VITAL SIGNS, this group played at Father Karl’s Jubilee Celebration
• Music and dancing will be following dinner from 8:00 pm – 11:00 pm.
• Tickets go on sale starting the FIRST WEEKEND in OCTOBER and continue through to the first weekend of November.

Tickets will be $50.00 each; and tables of 10 can be purchased and reserved.

We are all looking forward to a FUN evening together.

Calling all Volunteers!

The St. Francis Xavier Catholic Knights of Columbus is conducting its annual Intellectual Disabilities Fund Drive on the 16th, 17th and 18th of September. We’re going to be collecting donations on the streets and at Jewel-Osco stores.

Volunteers are needed at the intersection of Caton Farm and Drauden Rd on Friday from 8 AM until 12 PM, and Saturday 8 AM to 11 AM. There will be 2-hour shifts on Friday and one 3-hour shift on Saturday or as long as people can stay. Must be 18 years of age or older.

Volunteers of high school age or older are needed for 2-hour shifts at two local Jewel Osco Stores:

1401 Jefferson, Joliet

Friday, September 16 – 2 PM to 4 PM
Sunday, September 18 – 10 AM to 12 PM and 12 PM to 2 PM

Jewel-Osco

Theodore and Larkin

Saturday, September 17 – 10 AM to 2 PM

There will be a Pizza Party for all volunteers on Friday, September 23, 2022, at 6:30 PM.

This will be a great opportunity to get out and reconnect with our church family. There will be games, a Bags Tournament, and of course a Pig Roast.

We will have drinks to go along with our roast.

Our goal is for everyone to come out and have some fun.

Any additional funds will be donated back to the Blue envelope fund.
