Dear Brothers and Sisters, This weekend you get an opportunity to visit the house and see what the finished product looks like. There is a great sense of achievement in seeing a project come to fruition. Many thought that a small parish could not do it, but you have proven that when we pull together all things are possible. What is good and great about this : we borrowed no money, so we will have no extra debt. We used monies collected for the project and savings we made from parish monies. We had a great team of contractors and a great project manager in Paul Smerz. Paul gave many hours of his time to supervise to cajole and to find the cheapest prices without cutting the quality. The result is that we have a great parish house which will be an asset now and in the future. There will still be things to be done but we will get there together. To all who were involved , to all who donated toward the project, I say thank you and may the Lord continue to watch over you and this little big parish in the cornfields. Let us give thanks, Fr Karl
