Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, I have often looked at my sitting room or my bedroom and said “oh my God what a mess” and after an hour or so trying to tidy it thought it looked ten times worse. These days when I walk in to the lower level of the church I say oh boy did I open a can of worms with the idea of a garage sale/ rummage sale. I am grateful for the generosity of goods and of help. I have had so much fun in the midst of hanging clothes of sorting various articles and have been delighted with the community building and comradery it has created. Where would we be without the volunteers? Thank you. Now that there is organized chaos in the lower level, we need volunteers and clients for the rummage sale, the End of Summerfest and the blood drive. Any help will be appreciated. End of summer fest and the Rummage sale are parish events and we ask you to invite your friends and your neighbors to come along to laugh with us to buy whatever they can, but above all it is a chance to have fun to get to know your fellow parishioners and to be involved with what is a great parish community. Please get it out there and come and join us. The journey of faith continues, Fr Karl
