Dear Brothers and Sisters, In Britain and Ireland Mother’s Day is celebrated in March close to the feast of the Annunciation. In the USA its celebrated in May. Whenever we celebrate it its seen as an opportunity to say thanks or to give thanks for our mothers and especially for all they do and have done for us. As we celebrate Mother’s Day we ask the Mother of the Savior to pray for our mothers, so that they may have the strength and faith to encourage and challenge to defend and protect the good things in our lives. We pray that their faithfulness will inspire us and that when their time comes to cross over to life eternal, that God will have a special place for them. Happy Mother’s Day Fr Karl
