Dear Brothers and Sisters, The Dinner Dance is over and now we begin to prepare for another one. Yes, preparations for the dance takes a long time. A lot of people work hard and knock on many doors in order to make the event a success. Hopefully we made enough to pay the bills , but we also hope that people had fun and we helped you get to know some of the 4:30s or 8:30s or 10:00 clock people. Because a parish is more than those who go to one Mass. It is about all of us growing in faith and being better friends to one another. We are one people in Christ. And we journey together, caring for one another, watching out for each other and building together the people of God. Jesus is approaching Jerusalem, he is about to be condemned and led to his death. We ask ourselves where am I in the midst of all this. Am I the judge, am I the one who runs away? Where am I? And the words of the hymn calls out ”where you there when they crucified my lord”? Are we caring for Him watching for Him, asking Him to journey with us as we journey with him in these final weeks of lent. Fr Karl
