The Gift of Spirituality Dear Parishioners of St. Francis Xavier Parish, I received a note from Sandra Book telling me that my booklet, The Gift of Spirituality, will be given out for parish Lenten reading. Know that I will hold you in prayer as you all journey to the Easter mysteries. Lent is a beautiful time to deepen our spiritual life, this life of prayer, service, and self-denial: our relationship with God, our relationship with one another, our relationship with our self in seeking freedom to be open to the will of God.
