Baptism

Baptism is the beginning of our faith and our gateway into the Church. It is the first of three Sacraments of Initiation. Through Baptism we are freed from sin and reborn as sons of God; we become members of Christ, are incorporated into the Church and made sharers in her mission: "Baptism is the sacrament of regeneration through water in the word". (CCC 1213)

We welcome all families who are seeking the Sacrament of Baptism for their children.

Families must be registered at the parish at least 3 months prior to the Baptism and must be actively supporting members.  A Sacramental Preparation Session is required for first time parents to attend.

There is no fee to register at the parish nor is there any fee for the Sacramental Prep. materials, nor the Baptism, but a free will donation on the day of the Baptism is customary and greatly appreciated.

Baptisms are scheduled on most Sundays, immediately following the 10:00 am Mass.
