Who does the laundry in your household?  In a family, we all have our jobs and responsibilities…some more than others. Whether it be taking out the garbage, doing the dishes, or tending to the laundry, whatever the chore, we all know how important each task is to keeping a household running smoothly.

The same is true for our parish Family here at St. Francis Xavier.  Did you ever stop to think, ‘Who washes all the altar linens?’ Well, the answer is, it’s the Angels among us!

The Altar Linen Angels team cares for the sacred linens.  Without any fuss or fanfare, you’ll see this team walking into church on a weekly basis carrying a bag filled with freshly washed and ironed linens, quietly slipping into the sacristy and putting them in place.

Having clean linens each day helps to prepare our Liturgies with dignity and grace.

Training is provided on how to care for these special linens that contain the Body and Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ.
